On August 19, Japanese Exchange Liquid's Warm Wallet was accessed by an unauthorized one and several cryptocurrencies were stolen.
At this time, 4,392,174.87 MVL (about 70,000USD according to price on 19th) was found to be involved in this incident.
MVL Foundation immediately locked up the hacked wallet so that any withdrawals from unauthorized one was not allowed.
In addition, we continued to discuss with Liquid to normalize the transaction.
As of today, we would like to inform the communities that all MVL deposits/withdrawals and transactions in Liquid have been normalized.
The 4,392,174.87 MVL stolen by the unauthorized one has been permanently locked up and will not be released in the future.
