MVL Foundation which has developed blockchain-based mobility ecosystem “MVL” launched a new service application, TADA Taxi.
TADA Taxi will see MVL partner with Singapore taxi companies to bring a larger pool of drivers to provide more options for commuters using TADA, adding over 5,000 taxi drivers to the existing fleet of drivers already registered on the TADA application.
Like the TADA ride-hailing application, TADA Taxi will be operating on a zero-commission model, and no levy will be imposed on the booking fee set by respective taxi companies for drivers. TADA commuters can enjoy the option of booking taxis from the existing TADA application as well as TADA’s newest dedicated taxi application, TADA Taxi.
MVL will apply blockchain protocol MVL to TADA in the future. The first step in creating a mobility ecosystem based on blockchain is TADA service. Through this, MVL team aim to integrate vehicle and transportation service, and record all the data produced through the service in a blockchain to build a transparent and trustable mobility ecosystem. In addition, people who participate in data production by implementing the token economy can receive incentives.
